Hello once again audience! If you weren’t aware, we really like to get into the Halloween spirit. A lot of us were pretty excited about this year’s Halloween, but little did we know how much of a treat we were in for. Within the last few months, Umbrella has gained a new manager, Luke Ciurej, on Team Gotham who henceforth will be referred to as The Halloween King!
The Halloween King has been collecting and adding to his Halloween decorations for around ten years. He’s even started customizing Halloween props in a “corpsing” process to add to his haunted house walk-through. Needless to say, about a month ago when all found a coffin box stuffed with a skeleton and party invitation, we were pretty excited about it. However, we had no idea what was in store for us.
Upon arrival to The Halloween King’s house, we were greeted at the door by a life-size skeleton riding an animatronic skeleton horse that announced our presence with neighs and whinnies. Shortly after, we were greeted by a cowboy Halloween King with the authentic ‘stache and everything. We then entered into a sanctum of Halloween decoration that you usually would have to pay to see. There was a plethora of homemade Halloween candy and food that I spend a good chunk of time at, themed adult beverages, even the bathroom was dressed up with a bloody toilet paper and shower curtains.

All of this was just a taste of what the Halloween King truly had in store for us. The basement had been transformed into a haunted house. We were guided through the horrific masterpiece of animatronic monsters, strobe lights, fog machines and everything else the Halloween King had imagined. Some of the guests went through it three to four times it was so well done and fun.
The rest of the night was filled with good conversation, food, and fun times with the Umbrella team. It’s a night that I will remember for a long time.
If you are ever in need of some Halloween spirit or ideas, call us here at Umbrella and ask for the Halloween King, aka, Luke “The Man” Ciurej.
