Christmas cheer was abundant at this year’s annual Umbrella Christmas party. The newly remodeled office space (more on that in the new year) left us with plenty of seating and room to accommodate our growing team. To celebrate this year’s party, we went with a Christmas Carnival theme, and it was a hit.
We started the festivities with a staff Secret Santa gift exchange. Joke presents and Nerf® arrows flew, but it was all in good fun. Once the significant others arrived, we had a lovely dinner catered by Jack Stack BBQ, with desserts from some River Market neighbors (Baby Cakes, Opera House, and Bloom Baking).
The games began with a team contest of Christmas-themed trivia. We also hosted a Nerf® shooting gallery, a present toss into buckets, a snowball toss, and an ornament toss. Winners won tickets to enter drawings for a variety of prizes – with a big screen TV grand prize.
I love our various parties. Hosting events at our office feels like being at home with friends. If you haven’t heard of a Christmas Carnival, it is something you should consider for a future party.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours!
